The story behind every Modified Honda City VTEC. One common slogan, every car guys respond to after hearing the name Honda City is “VTEC kicks in yo”. In the back of 1998, Honda came to India with a low-slung stance and typical three-box sedan which turned heads like no one else. The Honda City rose with the 1.3-litre and 1.5-litre Hyper 16 petrol engines. But the real masterpiece arrived in the year 2000 when Honda launched the first VTEC in the country. With Added luxuries like power steering, all-four power windows, AC, a rear armrest Honda never compromised with the power. The stock 1.5-litre variant performed a 0-100kmph time of 13.32 seconds and a top whack of 163.7kmph, making it the fastest car in the country. Even though it’s been a few decades still the Honda city VTEC proves that there are no time boundaries for it!
