History of BMW M3 Cabriolet (E93):
The BMW M3 Cabriolet (E93) was introduced in the market with the sedan and wagon body styles in March 2005. Later on, in 2007 BMW M3 Cabriolet (E93) was introduced into the Indian market with a retractable hardtop. This luxury coupe comes with a 4.0 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine which comes with a Multi-point indirect injection fuel system & rear-wheel drive train. With its powerful 4.0-liter engine the car produces a maximum power of 420PS @ 8300rpm and maximum torque of 400Nm @ 3900rpm in stock condition.
Consequently, the car accelerates from 0-100 in just 5.3 sec from a standstill and drives to the top speed of 250 KMPH. The car comes with a “Comfort Access” option that allows the roof to be raised and lowered using the key fob. Even though this Series from BMW is priced higher than direct rivals, the car was praised for its driving dynamics, weight, chassis rigidity, and passenger/boot space (even with the roof down). But unfortunately, this gem is discontinued in India in the mid of 2013.
